Overview

The courses are designed to provide graduates with advanced training in the academic field of international relations. They comprise postgraduate level units not available to undergraduate students and are taught exclusively by experienced specialists in the field. The teaching team includes multiple winners of recent Excellence in University Teaching Awards. The courses are designed to equip students with relevant theoretical and historical knowledge and are particularly oriented towards understanding developments, outlooks, relationships and possibilities in the Asia-Pacific region. The different-length courses provide options for students with different backgrounds, needs and depth of interest. Those interested in but lacking the necessary background for the Master's program may find that they are eligible for the Certificate or Diploma programs and, upon successful completion of the lesser qualification, progress as desired to the higher level qualification. The courses are designed both for those purely interested in acquiring a better understanding of global governance and politics and those seeking a qualification to enhance their career prospects.
